Only a loaf of fresh baked bread is enough for me

And an hour of your time

To drink a cup of tea

While looking into your eyes

And sharing our untold stories

After a dreadful, long separation!

برایم گل نفرست، عزیزم!

خانه ای دارم گرم

و گیاهانی عاشق، که سالیان دراز همدمم بوده اند

از تو تنها یک چیز می خواهم ،  عزیزم!

برایم گل نفرست!

تنها یک قرص گرم نان که بوی یک زلالیت گمگشته دور را، در من زنده می کند،

برای من کافیست

و ساعتی برای نوشیدن یک فنجان چای

که به چشمهای همدیگر نگاه کنیم

و حرفهای نا گفته مان را

بعد از یک جدایی هولناک و موذی

به زبان بیاوریم.
