Nasrin Sotoudeh, the prominent Iranian Lawyer, in October 2012, began an indefinite hunger strike
in protest of new restrictions placed on her family visits.
“My daughter, I hope you never think that
I was not thinking of you or that it was my actions that deserved such
punishment. Everything I have done is legal and within the framework of the
law.” – Nasrin Sotoudeh, in a letter to her daughter from
Evin prison in Iran.
