When I read this poem in Belle of Writes, I could not resist not to publish it again.
Think of Others
As you prepare your breakfast, think of others
-don't forget to feed the pigeons.
As you wage your war, think of others
-don't forget those who seek peace.
As you pay your water bill, think of others
-think of those who only have clouds to drink from.
As you go home, your own home, think of others
-don't forget those who live in tents.
As you sleep and count the stars, think of others
-those who have nowhere to sleep.
As you express yourself in metaphors, think of others
-those who have lost the right to speak.
As you think others far away, think of yourself
and say "If only I were a candle in the dark."
